Silence II. - TIBOR ELIOT ROSTAS

Silence II. - TIBOR ELIOT ROSTAS
  • Silence II. - TIBOR ELIOT ROSTAS
  • Silence II. - TIBOR ELIOT ROSTAS
The author's debut Silence became one of the bestsellers on the Slovak book market, and the book itself caused a huge response but also a stir. Despite efforts to withdraw the book from sale, Silence enjoys extraordinary readership. Even the second part of the series of radio essays broadcast on VIVA radio owes nothing to the patience and explosiveness of the debut title.

The collection of essays begins with Twilight in the Garden of Gethsemane, where the soul of Christ is subjected to unspeakable sorrow for the hardships caused by the ever-present evil in a world full of nothingness. The author describes his own experiences in Jerusalem, which tore him from his lethargy and resignation to the justification for acting in the name of a turn for the better. All the following parts are a questioning of the soul and conscience of co-responsibility for silence on taboo subjects.

It is precisely silence that creates legitimacy and consent to all the destructive energies acting on the world of an abandoned person seeking satisfaction in the illusory world of material values. That is also why there are flashes of starting points at regular intervals on how to break out of the dark labyrinth of seemingly insurmountable laws. As in the first part, the author does not pronounce any judgments, nor does he suffer from the feeling of owning a single and legitimate interpretation of events and themes.

On the contrary, it calls for the reader's co-responsibility in seeking and finding answers as being part of a creative energy that can rebuild the world of nothingness and extinction into a world of just participation in the wealth of the planet for all.
Silence is a loud cry for love and peace in the whole space of infinite creation. That is why the author set out on a journey to the Tibetan monasteries in the Himalayas, where in the rays of the Braking he learns that no secrets exist, because all our being is part of a collective consciousness in which we are all one. Finding a way to one's own interior is the most essential meaning of being. And it is this moment that is a precondition for persistence in a collapsing world full of uncertainty and the advent of chaos.
